I usually don't listen to Afghani music but i really loved Bazmi Masti album. His music stands out from the rest of the Afghani singers. I personnely think he is very talented and he will be very popular soon. Last week i had a party and I bought his CD from an Afghani store and i played it in my party. Everybody loved it and was dancing to his music the entire night.
Hopefully he a giving a concert soon so that we can see him and listen to his music live.

To Hamid Jaan Rahimi: Brother nice music u have in ur both cds - but u should more working with ur voice - because it's really out of tone - u cant even sing the simple song like QHATAGHANI.. it sounds like u are crying and telling US A STORY !!!!
And PLEASE if u have in ur mind to release MORE CDS - SO DO US A FAVOUR DON'T SING COPIES - LIKE "Bazmi Masti" and THE COPIED SONG MASOOMA - Hamid jaan just realize that u will never be able to sing like Marhoom Nazrat Parsa - even he had copied the song!
To Dj: u are right - u don't know much about afghani music and the party music, if u did - YOU WOULD NEVER HAVE BOUGHT "BAZMI MASTI" Anyway, hope now u have realized that it was a mistake!!!!

As a matter of fact hamid rahimi is very good singer because i was at a wedding 2 weeks ago and he was performing there and he had everyone off their seats. You know the song qhatagani, it does not sound like he is crying its just your ears and beside the points because of this qatagani song someone like our great singer NASRAT PARSA got killed just please leave alone that bloody song.And im sure that the song MOHSAMA was dedacaded to our late fellow singer Nasrat Parsa.Im positive that every singer has at least copied a fair amount of songs from others.You should have known that from your expectations you have for our fellow singers. WHATS WRONG WITH OUR AFGHANS,INSTEAD OF SUPPORTING OUR SINGERS,WE PUT THEM DOWN AND GIVE THEM NO SUPPORT AT ALL.
That was my concern to our afghans out there. I wish Hamid Rahimi all the best in the future and keep up the great effort.

And to give you some information about my self - i study music + play some instruments - not like you just litsning to music and dancing - in that case i know exactly what i'm criticizing - regrettably, not like u praising one person's work to another person!!!
And one importante fact - look "around the world" means in the COMPUTER - and find one country where the singers copy an other singer's song - like our singers do - maybe u find one SINGER who have sang only ONE SONG - NOT A complete CD!!!!!
So please don't call NORMAL for THE BEST!
ONLY THEY MUST BE APPOINTED AS THE BEST SINGERS- SARBAN,NASHENAS, AHMAD ZAHIR AND FARHAD DARYA - SOME OTHER'S VERY GOOD SINGERS.... to tell u i don't litsen to Sarban and Nashenas that much - but i still see them as the best and talented singers - the same do most afghans.
U also mentioned "Ustad Haidar Saleem" - since when he has become an ustad? who give him the title?
I do have big big respect for that mannn - and to not forget i almost have all his cds - and i do like his voice, music even his copies - coz he doesn't copy like our most new singers with their - u know so called "modern music + style" - but i don't see him as an ustad!!!!

Thanks for ur MSG - but i still don't agree that Hamid is a very GOOD SINGER - i would say just a SINGER! And speaking of SUPPORTING OUR SINGERS - the day Mr Hamid release a cd containing all his own songs, WHERE I CAN SEE HE'S WORK OF COURSE THE TALENT HE HAS USED IN IT I WILL BE THE FIRST ONE TO SUPPORT HIM...!!!
And The qataghani song and music, honestly it doesn't interst me - and u are right perhaps something must be wrong with my ears - coz i put feelings into music than litsening to it - and of course i perfer cds where the music and singer's voice have connection....

I respect everyones's opinion. I bought hamid rahimi's first album [tarana-hi-barin] and i found 5 new songs in that album which were great songs and composed very well. Most of all one of his new songs [ BAZ JOYAM JOYAM] it is beautifully composed especially the tone of his voice, makes you calm and relaxed.To be honest i havent gone out to buy his second album but im sure that it is wonderful.
Speaking of copied songs that our fellow afghans are concerned about, as far as i know his first album [tarana- hi- barin] had about 5 new songs.
By the way i saw hamid rahimi 12 years ago and he was playing the tabla for haidar saleem at his concert. I honeslty think he is a talented musicien.
Once again i wish him all the best and no harsh feelings to our afghans out there.

i just wanna say something to that brother who was creticising the album and the songs.
we all know that no one is perfect but the only thing we can do is give them the fuel of support and love that they can make it better the next time.
i personally appreciate ur politness and being so nice. coz nowadays i see our youth they dont really care for all afghan values.
keep up ur work too and hopefully we will have another musician in our comunity .

First of all thanks for the advice boro "B" .... secondly, try to litsen to ur uncle's CDs once again, than compare the song "Masooma" sang by Marhoom Nasrat Parsa, and the qataghani song sang by Jawid Sharif - after i'm sure u will clearly hear the difference and of course that Hamid Rahimi is absolutely not the best singer as many of u keep writting that he is...!!!
I really feel sorry for all of u "DESCO-DANCERS", that u all don't know a SHIT about music and to be a talentfull singer!!! Thoes, who have talent and work hard u would say they are not singers, and singers like Hamid Rahimi, whom i would call "SARAK-CHAAP SINGER" - you people call the best and very talentfull....!!!!

your comment was really good ( i mean yur jelousy ) that i can tell that yu must have no knowledge of music...if yu did have any knnowledge by now yu would have been a artist,singer,composer...please introuduce your self to our afghan community if yu think that yu are the PRO of music becaz as i have seen yu have written a comment on every singers reply box....basically critizing. Please do we have to compare evry singer..every singer has their own style and taste of music..trying to compare jawid sharif with hamid rahimi's songs...PLEASEE!! I bet yu that hamid rahimi's cd entertains yu...wit all that mast music...by the way...yur that kind of guy that is inlove wit qhatagani songs due to that we have lost our beloved singer, becaz yu have also mentioned the qhatagani song in the other replies too. After reading all comments and opinions here, I got one question in my mind. What does music mean for you? Is it just enteratinment? Or it is a science to study, learn, feel and understand?
I personally know Mr. Hamid Rahimi. He is a very nice man and where I wish him all the best I request him to give some more time on singing and improve SUR.
